I had the opportunity to speak to the cool juicing whiz, Dom Ceja aka Nomadic Juicer. Like many others, there’s so much about juicing that I don’t understand. I have tried the juice fasts and detox packs from leading brands. I was all in on the celery juice craze and still do it infrequently. But I never truly understood how it works, why it works, and how to incorporate it into my lifestyle for true benefit and in a sustainable fashion. Dom explains and breaks all of this down in our chat and BONUS, we have a juicing recipe and demo at the end. So if it’s a bit intimidating to step into the juicing world, I think this interview will be an incredible tool.
One of the biggest takeaways for me, actually massive takeaway was learning about meeting my protein needs (as my diet is mostly vegan) through juicing. We also get into herbology and the concept of regenerative detoxification (which is easier to spell than it is to pronounce).
Dom’s entire story and journey is unique and inspiring. From athlete to nomad, to turning to a juicing lifestyle, he drops so much wisdom with incredible humility. Dom is currently based in the mountains of Armenia – as you know the country is in the midst of conflict. Dom, we are keeping you in mind, please continue to stay safe and we are praying for a quick and peaceful resolution.
